Stop Comparing yourself to others
I’m going to try to not sound super cringey when writing this but stop comparing yourself!
Don’t get me wrong, this is something I’m still very guilty of doing, I mean once you get into the habit it’s still easy to slip back to It.
In light of social media *cough cough* Instagram
One thing to remember is that; just because someone looks like they have the perfect, happy life doesn’t really mean they have a perfect life.
Why do you think its called flexing for the gram?
Once you start comparing yourself to the people you see on social media that’s when the self-sabotage begins and really it’s all downhill from there.
Trust me I’ve learnt that the hard way.
Stay farrrrrrrr away from negative energy
When I say far away I mean pack your bags and move to a different country just to avoid it.
Okay, maybe not but you get my point.
By negative energy, this can mean toxic people and yes, family and friends included.
I don’t mean completely avoid your family if they’re literally dripping in toxicity…even though I’m not completely opposed to the idea.
Your friends can also be toxic, this can even be very subtle toxicity but in general, there is no reason why you should be around people that don’t make you feel good.
That doesn’t contribute anything meaningful to your life, all it does is dime you down and lower your confidence.
After you make these changed and surround yourself with positivity you’ll notice a big boost in yourself.
Wear things that make you feel good
I personally believe that if you look good, you feel good and you feel more confident.
Wear something that really makes you feel like that bitch.
For example; a nice lipstick that makes you feel confident if makeup isn’t your thing then some nice underwear and if that’s not your thing then some jeans that make your butt pop or even shoes that make you feel like a boss.
My point is doing little things like that will slowly build up your confidence and if you feel it, you look confident.
