Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place: Foundation & Concealer Review.

Foundation Shade: 7N1 (Deep Amber)

Concealer Shade: 6N (Extra Deep)

After a few weeks of having both the Estee Lauder double wear stay-in-place foundation and concealer in my beauty basket I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the both of them as I desperately wanted to try them.  The concealer claims to be 15-hour wear while the foundation claims to be 24-hour wear, oil control, cake free with no streaking and no poring, as soon as I heard oil-free I was sold.

While I didn’t leave it on for 24 hours I wanted to know if the rest of the formula facts were what they claimed to be.

The first thing that I instantly loved about the foundation is that it contains SPF 10, I try to add SPF in my skincare routine but I’d never had or tried to incorporate this into my makeup routine until now. Both the foundation and concealer are oily free which is good for those like me who have oily skin because the last thing you want is to look greasy all throughout the day.

The foundation is really true to your skin tone. I really like it because it’s buildable, you can have a little of it on and it’ll look skin-like but it also allows you to build up to achieve full coverage. It blends in really easily and managers to cover my darker spots and uneven skin tone that I have all around my face.

One other thing is that the foundation and concealer works really well to give you a flawless non-greasy base. I had this on for about 8 hours and I didn’t need to constantly apply powder on to keep me from looking oily and it really did stay in place.
